Which Y201 variant should I choose for my site?

Choose Y201-G when the site needs LTE Cat.1 cellular backhaul, Y201-R when a stable RJ45 Ethernet connection is available, and Y201-W when local 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi is available or Ethernet cabling is impractical. Confirm the serial interface, protocol and power conditions before ordering.

Can a Y201 connect Modbus RTU devices to a cloud platform?

Yes. The serial-to-network path can carry Modbus RTU devices to an IP network, and Modbus RTU-to-TCP is available when enabled. TCP, UDP, HTTP and MQTT support depends on the selected model and configuration, so confirm the cloud protocol and data path before ordering.

What information is needed to size a Y201 deployment?

Share the device model and protocol, quantity, serial interface, required uplink, network availability, power supply and cloud or SCADA endpoint. Also note baud rate, data direction, distance and any offline or buffering requirement so the technical team can confirm the architecture.

Which serial interfaces and baud rates are supported?
